Drain the water off, refill with fresh water and
swish around and drain again.
Lay the sprout jar on it's side and within a day the sprouts
will begin to grow.
Start feeding your rat the sprouts the first day after the soak.
Rinse the sprouts daily. Make only enough sprouts to
last four days to ensure their freshness.

IMPORTANT
Rinse the sprouts daily
and lay the jar on it's side again.
The sprouts may be kept on
the kitchen counter for up to
four days-rinsing daily.
During hot summer months
the sprout jar may need to be
kept on it's side in the refrigerator to prevent fermentation. The sprouts will sprout more slowly in
the fridge but that's OK.
Again rinse daily.
NOTE
Sprouts can be made in a bowl the same way.
Drain off the water with a kitchen strainer and return to the bowl.
Cover the sprouts
with a wet paper towel. Re-wet the paper towel if it dries out.
