Pet Rats ~ Undeniably Cute!
Welcome!
Fancy pet rats make wonderful companions. Rats are extremely smart and very trainable. They learn their names, come when they are called, give kisses like a dog and so much more.
Here at Rats Realm Rattery our goal is to raise beautiful, healthy, loving pet rats. We specialize in dumbo rats, hairless rats, and genetically dwarf rats.
We promote and sell healthy rat food such as our own natural & organic grain mix, Harlan Teklad Lab Blocks and a highly nutritious sprout mix.
Pet rats are my passion. I never get tired of their sweet furry faces, their playful antics and the love and trust I see in their eyes.

Did you know.........that boy rats are calmer
and cuddlier than female rats. They make great pets!
Last Update March 26, 2008
This year I am working on my dwarf dumbo and hairless
dwarf lines. I will continue to breed my lilac, mink, Russian, and Siamese in dumbo and standard ear, rex and velveteen.
New this year are my imported English lines of Burmese, black-eyed Himalayan and black-eyed Siamese ratties.
Individual baby pictures are posted at around 3 weeks of
age when the babies eyes open and they begin
to toddle around. Adoptions start at 5 weeks of age.
RAT TIP
Make your rats a digging box. Instead of potting soil use non-toxic packing peanuts. Fill a box or children's play pool with the peanuts and watch your rats have a blast jumping, hiding and exploring. Scatter a few goodies around for them to search out and enjoy!.
